transit tensor

this is a simple synthetic transit light curve generated in the browser. the dips represent a planet transiting its star on a regular period. tensorflow.js detects your hand so you can try to "catch" the transits with a swipe.

how to play

  1. use a device with a webcam.
  2. when the browser asks for camera access, click allow.
  3. hold one hand in front of the webcam, about an arm’s length away, with decent lighting.
  4. watch the vertical line in the middle of the graph: that’s the detection line.
  5. when a dip passes under the detection line, swipe your index finger down to "catch" it.
  6. if you swipe at the right time, your score goes up. if you swipe with no transit, it’s a miss.
